Well I graduated from the University of Sheffield with a degree in journalism, I might as well put it to some use. I’m Jacob, I’m 20-something, and I love beer. My goodness I’m still green, but I love to learn more about it, especially by engaging with beer writers and brewers head on.

This site is never your first port-of-call for technical prowess on tasting, trade or anything else important. It’s really just a place for me to experiment and practice writing about something that isn’t news, and to dip my toes into the water of drinks writing.

The name, apart from being incredibly witty, also stems from the fact that I live with anxiety, and ADHD. Putting pen to paper and getting a piece out into the world can be extremely difficult, with an overbearing feeling that everything has to be perfect. What you’re reading is usually the seventh or eighth attempt at me trying to get this on your screen.
